Your TRACKS account and password is used for Florida Tech email (@fit.edu), PAWS (Panther Access Web System), Computer Labs in the Olin Engineering and Olin Life Sciences buildings, the Computer Sciences open lab (EC272), all Instructor Workstations in multimedia classrooms, and all desktops using the FLTECH domain to log on to the campus network.

PAWS to use TRACKS Authentication System
Starting May 16, 2007, PAWS will no longer use Florida Tech ID numbers and PINs. For more information please visit our PAWS to TRACKS information page.

Alumni and Students who have previously attended Florida Tech:
Individuals who previously attended Florida Tech and who require access to PAWS will have to create an Alumni/Attended TRACKS account. Beginning May 16th, individuals who know their Florida Tech ID number and PIN will be able to create an account by visiting http://fit.edu/paws and clicking "Create your Account".

Account Lockout Requirements
A TRACKS password will expire after 120 days. When it expires the password will have to be changed. Also, TRACKS accounts will be locked for 10 minutes after 10 invalid login attempts.

Password Complexity Requirements
The password requirements have changed. The new password standards are below:

The password must be at least 8 characters in length.
The password must not repeate any of your last 7 passwords.
The password must contain at least 3 character classes:

Upper Case Characters [A-Z]
Lower Case Characters [a-z]
Numeric Characters [0-9]
Symbols
